HIGHLIGHTS

In my 30+ years in business, I’ve designed primary and secondary homes all around the Pacific Northwest, including many waterfront homes. The scope of projects have been complete home renovations, master bath renovations, window treatments, reupholstery, floor coverings, small commercial projects and second homes including ski cabins and small yachts. I have also completed commercial projects, including an eyewear retail space, restaurants and small office suites.

CLIENTS

Clients I work with understand the value of professional design. They want a beautiful space, with thoughtful design, and quality craftsmanship. As their primary contact, I lead them through the hundreds of decisions needed to bring a design to life. I’ve worked with a variety of clients, including business executives, entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers and busy moms! Today, most projects come from repeat clients and referrals. I build lasting relationships with each of my clients, and there’s no greater compliment than being asked to do another project!

APPROACH

My ability to listen and hear what’s important to you allows me to create the space you’ve always dreamed of, even if you can’t define it! This can be conveyed through what you share with me, through inspirational photos, as well as through a treasured item such as a piece of art, area rug, or a sentimental piece.  From this, I draw inspiration for the color palette, themes and textures for your space.

I am flexible to how involved you’d like to be. Do you want to join in the hunt for selections? Or would you prefer for me to present a selection of samples I have curated for you? I wholeheartedly invite my clients into the decision making process because I’ve found this leads to a result you’ll be most happy with. If you’d prefer a hands off approach, I can do that as well.  As your interior designer, I ensure every detail is cared for from concept through completion.

STYLE

Think of me as a design chameleon. My adaptability to create a space that is uniquely you is my greatest asset. I am very comfortable in many style genres.  With decades of experience in home furnishings, I can easily create spaces in casual northwest contemporary to traditional Queen Anne and beyond. I generally start with two simple questions: Who will use the space? What’s important to you?

CREDENTIALS & RECOGNITION

I am certified through the Council for Qualification of Residential Interior Design (CQRID) and am a Professional Member of the Interior Design Society (IDS) in which I have received several Designer of the Year awards (see below). I have also participated in several Olympia Master Builders (OMB) Street of Dreams projects and have been honored to receive numerous “Best of Design” awards.
