What’s my style?

I’m often asked what my personal style is.  I don’t really have one in particular.  I swear I could live in ten different styles of homes quite easily.  I love the balance that a Georgian home offers.  I love the ruggedness of a cottage on the Irish coastline complete with a peat fire and a thatch roof.  But then again, I could easily find myself living in a Scandinavian ski lodge, even though I don’t ski!

Mostly though, I gravitate to more of a PNW way of life.  I love the warm use of wood for floors with the simple lines of cabinetry made out of fir.  The use of slate floors and salvaged wood beams add a lot of weight to the room.  Large open windows to let in lots of daylight and Mother Nature.  A large handwoven area rug in the center of the room to add color and to anchor the furniture placement.  Throw in a few wool blankets over a leather chair with a fire in the fireplace, a good glass of wine and I’m good to go!  I love all shades of green which can be mixed with blues or purples and terra cotta to just jazz it up a bit.

Since 2015, I have helped over 100 interior designers, builders, builders, and architects – from those just starting out to award-winning designers published in Architectural Digest, Luxe, and more.

My process starts with what is already true within you, then brings it to life in a way that resonates with your ideal clients.

I work with designers because they’re awesome. I’m a member of IDS (Interior Design Society) and served on the board of the Virtual Chapter. Design events I’ve attended include High Point, Vegas Market, and BOLD Summit (Business of Luxury Design).

When I’m not creating brands and websites, you can find me listening to audiobooks and going on long speed walks with friends.

I’m from Seattle and now live in New York City with my wife, Gaby.
